Connect Free
You connect addresses at free.fr with the full email address and its password. For sending to work, authenticated SMTP must be turned on at Free.
Enable sending at Free
- Sign in to your Free subscriber area (Espace Abonné).
- Open the management of your mail accounts, then “Gestion du SMTP authentifié”.
- Turn on authenticated SMTP. It is often already on for newer accounts.
Connect Free in AllMailHub
- Pick Free in the setup assistant or under “Add account”. If it is not in the list, choose “Other (IMAP)”.
- Enter your full address ending in @free.fr and its password, not just the part before the @.
- AllMailHub checks the connection and loads your mail.
Good to know
- If mail arrives but sending fails, authenticated SMTP is almost always not turned on yet.
