Connect another provider or your own mail server
AllMailHub works with every mailbox that offers IMAP. Nearly all email providers do, including smaller ones and self-hosted mail servers.
Step by step
- Choose “Other (IMAP)” in the setup assistant or under “Add account”.
- Enter your email address and password. AllMailHub looks up the server settings in a provider database, in your domain’s DNS and under the usual server names.
- If no settings are found, enter the IMAP and SMTP server by hand. Your provider’s help pages list them, usually under “IMAP settings”.
Good to know
- Port 993 with SSL/TLS is the standard for IMAP; SMTP usually uses port 465 with SSL/TLS or port 587 with STARTTLS.
- In most cases the user name is the full email address.
- AllMailHub connects over IMAP. Mailboxes that only offer POP3 cannot be connected.
